The Yoga Festival By The Sea

Our annual celebration of community based in LOHAS lifestyle of health and sustainability. This year's two day festival includes the largest gatherin of vegetarian food vendors ranging from the Thai Elephant Truck to Dean's Natural Food Market which sponsored the showing of Forks Over Knives in the Indie Film Festival complimented with our very own selected integrative nuttionist. Along with pumpkin ale and organic wine. The local music and dance expression once again supported the community's efforts along with fabulous skate programming at the corner of mattison and bond street. We hosted three community arts projects: a scavenger hunt, a global peace candle pour and the Boys & Girls Club of Monmouth Tibet Flag creation - all FREE.

In partnership with the Asbury Park Board of Education our govenor Chri Christie announced the festival as a unique on of a kind program that should be observed state wide. Surf Rider Foundation

Yoga basin hosts community programming events for Surf Rider Foundation a grassroots, non-profit, environmental organization that works to protect our oceans, waves, and beaches. We teach yoga surf every weekend to mid-lifers just starting out on the adventure of surf and positive energy flow. We say our studio floor is sprinkled with sand.
